Meet Our Oldham Team

Christine – Massage Therapist

I work at the clinic as a Massage Therapist including Sports Massage and Pregnancy Massage. I first realised how interested I was in the human body after studying Anatomy and Physiology at college.

As I went on to study Massage Therapy and put everything into practice I then realised how beneficial it was. I love working at the clinic alongside the Chiropractic Team. Massage Therapy compliments the work they carry out on our guests and the results are often life changing.

The clinic also promotes healthy living and well-being so after studying nutrition I can also offer good advice in that area.

Andrew O’Brien – Massage Therapist

Andrew O'Brien

Andrew O’Brien

I have been a keen rugby union player since the age of 15 and have had my fair share of injuries. I was destined to play in the front row which has meant many visits to the treatment table. In 2002 I went on a tour to America and had my first Sports Massage. The benefit I gained from this was incredible, and in such a short time period. I knew from then that I wanted to dedicate my time to helping people through massage.

Suffering so many different injuries, I’ve had most treatments which are available on the market and what has worked best for me is chiropractic treatment and/or physiotherapy in conjunction with massage. Before I started working at the Oldham Chiropractic Clinic, I had been a client for over 10 years which goes to show just how much faith I have in them!Read more…

Some people can be put off when they hear the words ‘Sports Massage’ as they incorrectly assume they need to be sporty or involved in a specific sport when they do not. Massaging is beneficial to everyone no matter their gender, age, fitness or activity levels.

I provide a full range of massages from relaxing Swedish Body massages, Indian Head massages and Pregnancy Massages to the more vigorous Deep Tissue, Therapeutic and Sports massages. Whatever your needs, I will be able to cater for them whether you have had a sudden acute pain or long standing, chronic symptoms.I have been practicing as a Massage and Sports Massage Therapist for 8 years after qualifying from Oldham College.

I have also successfully completed a whole host of courses at the Manchester School of Massage so that my knowledge is continually developing. I help a variety of people ranging from professional athletes, cyclists, rowers and tri-athletes who require detailed and ongoing treatment programs to ordinary members of the public with bad necks or backs.

Massages compliment physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment so why not ask your treating practitioner for more information next time you are here?

Georgina – Clinic Administrator

I met a patient from the Oldham clinic when I was out dog walking. We got chatting and he told me he had a back problem and how the guys at the chiropractic clinic had helped him. I had suffered with back pain for a while and so decided to give the clinic a try. After several treatments with Dr Jackson I began to feel better and very shortly after became a member of the staff there.

Over the years that I have been part of the team I have seen many people benefit from chiropractic care. One particular episode that I remember clearly was when a patient came into the clinic literally doubled over and then not ten minutes later walk out of the clinic with a straight back!

Gail – Chiropractic Assistant

Having been with the practice for over 18 years, I am the longest serving member of staff and have seen the results first hand from chiropractic care.

Working on the front line as a senior receptionist has resulted in many guests becoming more like friends.

I take inspiration from my experience at the clinic, which is why my hobbies involve plenty of exercise such as walking and going to the gym.

Adele – Chiropractic Assistant

Having worked at the Oldham clinic for over 10 years, I have found my position to be very fulfilling.

It is rewarding to see the progress people make during a course of chiropractic treatment.

I have treatment myself on my back and would certainly recommend chiropractic treatment.

Our knowledgeable staff can field most questions over the telephone. Contact Oldham Chiropractic and Physiotherapy Clinic today.

Iona – Chiropractic Assistant

I began working at Oldham Chiropractic Clinic in July 2015, since then i have not stopped learning new things about my health and the benefits of chiropractic.

I have seen some amazing results and have built some fantastic relationships with such a great team of people.

Ciara – Chiropractic Assistant

I started at the clinic when I was 16 and over the past few years I have learnt a lot about the health benefits of chiropractic care, general health care and healthier lifestyle choices.

I was instantly made to feel part of a community when I started and I’ve built good friendships with my colleagues and guests who come to us.

I’ve seen amazing results, the level of care our guests receive from the Chiropractors and Chiropractic Assistants is second to none. The vibe of the clinic makes it a place where I enjoy working and guests enjoy visiting.

Trixie – Chiropractic Assistant

I started working for Oldham Chiropractic clinic in May 2016. I love my role in the clinic, I particularly love meeting new people and witnessing their Chiropractic Journey.

I know how important Chiropractic is as my family also has Chiropractic Care, I have seen the wonderful results.

Deborah – Admin

I started working at Oldham Chiropractic in February 2013 as a Chiropractic Assistant. I already had an insight into the work they do as I had been a guest at the clinic since 2003.

Since April I have changed roles, I am now loving my new backstage role dealing with the day to day administration of the Clinic.

The Chiropractic results for me personally were amazing; having had a fall playing badminton which caused my pelvic to be out of line and a disc to bulge which in turn was trapping the sciatic nerve down my leg.  I certainly wouldn’t be as active today if it hadn’t been for the fantastic care I had and still receive.

People who come to the clinic, don’t really know what to expect as the pain they have, has been with them so long they think it’s a way of life.  I know I did.

There is so much to still learn and the whole team do regular coaching sessions so that we can help every guest progress along their Chiropractic journey which we all find rewarding to see.

Jo – Chiropractic Assistant

I started working as a CA at Oldham Chiropractic Clinic in April 2017, as i was particulary interested in Chiropractic Care and wanted to become a part of such an interesting subject.

As a keen gym-goer and yoga, i am fascinated by ways to improve health and well-being. i love my role in clinic as i like to learn new skills, interact with people and see the fantastic results from Chiropractic care.
